A journey with Tom Hanks

The Lightroom is an underground bunker with projections on all of the walls and floor.
The pictures and video were of the Apollo 11 take-off, time on the moon and of the Apollo landing.
Moonwalkers was about the 12 people to walk and leave footprints on the moon.
We learned about Apollo 17 being the last moon landing for 50 years. Artemis is a new mission to the moon and its plan is to make a permanent base on the moon and the astronauts will use it like a service station on the way to Mars in the future.
Artemis is Apollo’s twin sister in Greek mythology and they are both archers.

The crew of Artemis had coffee and ate donuts with the staff at Lightroom. We know that because one of the staff members told us.
The crew of Artemis have a woman astronaut and the captain has black skin.

This picture shows the Apollo 11 astronauts training for a water landing.
We saw lots of planets, stars. It’s a really good experience.
The pictures made you feel like you were the size of a walnut. It made you feel like you were in space, on the moon. It felt like you were floating.
When the pictures move up it feels like you are moving down. It’s a very strange feeling.
The bit that sticks in my mind is the rocket launch.
It really helped you think about what the surface of the moon is like and the depths of craters. In one you could fit the Empire State Building and there was a mountain bigger than Mount Fuji.

This is me giving Moonwalkers the thumbs up!
